Paddle Tennis

Ardsley has three state-of-the-art platform tennis courts and a warming "hut". Platform tennis, or "paddle," is a cold-weather sport usually played from mid-October through mid-April. The court is one-third the size of a tennis court and is surrounded by wires. The ball may be played off the wires providing it lands in the court first. Rules and scoring are similar to tennis with the exception that only one serve is allowed and there is no let serve. The season officially begins in late October with an evening buffet and a Round Robin Tournament. Ardsley participates in both men's and women's leagues.
