Access to the Clubhouse and Sports facilities will not be permitted to members, children and guests who are improperly attired. At the direction of The Board of Governors the Club's staff will infer this code. Gentlemen and boys are required to remove hats, caps and visors in the Clubhouse and on the Main and Grill terraces.

ACCEPTABLE DRESS:

CLUBHOUSE: MAIN DINING ROOM,PRIVATE DINING ROOM, RALLYE ROOM AND CHAPEL

SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAY EVENTS: MEN AND BOYS over the age of ten must wear a jacket and tie. Boys over the age of five, jackets are required. WOMEN dress, skirt or slacks. 

FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: GENTLEMEN: over the age of ten: jacket with collared shirt or turtleneck.WOMEN: Dress, skirts or slacks.

MAIN TERRACE: 

SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAY EVENTS:GENTLEMAN OVER THE AGE OF TEN: jacket and tie. Over five: jacketWOMEN: dress, skirt or slacks

GOLF COURSE AND PRACTICE AREAS: 

MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN: Long pants, Bermuda shorts, skirts, dresses of acceptable lengths, TUCKED-IN shirts. Men and boys must wear collared shirts and caps worn front forward. Tennis and swim attire is not permitted. Metal cleats are not allowed.

TENNIS COURTS: 

MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN: White tennis clothes (slight trim permissible) shirts on at all times and white tennis sneakers are required. NO colored shirts or shorts, track shoes running shoes, basketball shoes or shoes with cleats or spikes and swim wear.

POOL: 

MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN: Swimsuits and swimwear are permitted only at the pool facility. NOT permitted are denim jeans, jean shorts, denim shirts and skirts, jean styles in other colors, cut-off pants and shirtsleeves.

JUNIOR ACTIVITIES: TENNIS AND GOLF CLINICS 

The purpose of these programs is to immerse the children in the activities of The Ardsley Country Club. Our young members are expected to learn and comply with the Club's dress code.
 

UNACCEPTABLE IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND AT THE GOLF, TENNIS AND POOL FACILITIES:

MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN:   Denim jeans, jean shorts, denim shirts and skirts, jean styles in other colors, short shorts, cut off pants and sleeves, undershirts, logo tee shirts, (except A.C.C. logo), halters, bare midriffs, spandex, work-out and running attire. Swimwear is not permitted in the Clubhouse and at the sports facilities. Men and boys must remove hats, caps, and visors in the Clubhouse and on the main and grill terraces.

At the direction of The Board of Governors, The dress code policy will be monitored and enforced by the Clubhouse Manager, Golf and Tennis Pros and staff.
